JAZZ GAME!

Jeff and I went to the Jazz game on Saturday night! It's always nice when he gets tickets to go sit in the Xango suite....free dinner, free drinks, free ice cream sundaes for dessert during half time, free game, nice cushy seats, free parking pass! It's great. It was a lot of fun!

Jeff decided to take some pictures of the kids. Of course Caleb has his Jazz jersey on. Chloe has her soccer uniform on. It's a little big but she looks so cute in it! She starts soccer in April and is SO excited about it!!

Less Than 2 Weeks

I can't believe I'm under 2 weeks til the due date. I just need to get through this week and then I'm good. This week is SO busy!!!

Tuesday....preschool at my house, play the piano at a nursing home for Relief Society, Doctor appt., Young Women's activity

Wednesday....get my hair done, 4-h at my house, go out to dinner with Monica and AnneMarie

Thursday....preschool at my house

Friday....Chrysta gets married and it would be a WHOLE lot easier on my mom if she didn't have to miss that to fly out here

Saturday...my mom is coming for sure (as long as the baby hasn't already come)

So, yeah, she needs to wait til the evening of March 1st. Prefereably the 2nd so that we can hang out with my mom for a day before she comes. It'd be cool if she came on my mom's birthday which is March 2nd.......IF ONLY I COULD CHOOSE!!! :)

Oh...and still no decision on the name yet.

Caleb's new toy

Here's a video Chloe wanted to take of Caleb's new toy he bought yesterday with his money he got from Great Grandma for his birthday. It's pretty cool. It starts off as a truck and then you push a button and it pops up to a gorilla that bangs on his chest. I got it on clearance for $25....normally $45! Are you serious.....45 bucks for that? I mean it's cool but.... Chloe's really excited to get money from Great Grandma on her birthday so she can buy one too!

What is a little thing or two you love about him? He's a great husband and dad. He's thoughtful, patient, fun, ambitious, a hard worker, a good example. He has a strong testimony of the gospel and lives it.

Who pays the bills? He makes the money....I pay the bills

Who mows the lawn? What's a lawn?? I haven't seen it in months!! We only have snow. But when it gets to that time of year (can't wait) we both do.

I've been searching for the canopy for the infant carseat and can't find it anywhere. BUT, I did find this dance picture from when I was 3 or 4...

The swelling has begun

I got really swollen feet and hands with Chloe but didn't get swollen at all with Caleb, so I thought, since it's around the same time of year, that I wouldn't with this one either. But unfortunately, I noticed in the shower a couple days ago, that I couldn't see the bones in my feet like I usually can. But I tested my ankles by pushing in, and it didn't stay in so I thought...OK, just a little swollen nothing too bad. Then last night I was showing Jeff and I said, "But it's not that bad, it doesn't stay in when I push on my ankle bone." I pushed on the bone to show him, but it totally stayed in...how depressing!!! It's not anywhere close to how I was with Chloe but still, it's gross. Looking on the bright side, that means that some of the weight is just water weight that goes away a couple days after the baby comes. But three and a half more weeks of this......ughh! I just hope it doesn't get worse!

CALEB IS 4!!!

Caleb had been asking for a few weeks if we could go to Chuck E. Cheese on his birthday! I was kind of dreading going on a Friday night, but it wasn't too bad and we had a lot of fun!

Me shooting baskets...I actually did better than I thought I would.

Caleb's Superman cake....I totally slacked in making a cake and just bought one. It was $20, but worth not having to take the time to make it and clean up the mess!

Caleb's early bday party

4H (or 5H as Chloe and Olivia call it...because they're 5) was at my house this week so I decided to do a little birthday party for Caleb. Olivia and Isaac came over and they made party hats (which Caleb's kind of looked like a dunce cap...oh well!), played pin the tail on the donkey (thanks to Wendy's lovely drawing) and pin the candle on the birthday cake. Then we sang happy birthday and had cake and ice cream. It was fun and I'm proud of how
well I captured Caleb blowing out the candles. Notice how 2 are blown out and 2 are still lit. Caleb was funny when I told him to open his present from them he said, "But my rings aren't all gone yet."

Caleb's Birthday

Caleb's 4th birthday is on Friday and this kid's seriously is SO excited. Especially since he got a little present at church yesterday in primary that he has to wait and open on his birthday. After church he kept asking me how long til his birthday. I kept telling him that it is in 5 days. He still came up and asked, "Is it my birthday yet?" So I told him, "You have to go to sleep 5 more times and then it will be your birthday." I was in the kitchen, he ran out and then a couple seconds later I hear him yelling, "Mommy, start counting!!" And then, "Did you start counting yet Mommy?" At first I was thinking, what is he talking about, then I realized that he was upstairs laying in his bed. He wanted me to count to count to 5 so that then it would be his birthday. I was laughing...it was the cutest thing to see him all snuggled up in his bed waiting for me to count to 5. I love how his little mind thinks. So we made a chain (Chloe made one too) so he can cut one off each day til his birthday, now he gets it!
